Last year we began teaching Lindsey to spell simple words. For starters, we began with MOM and DAD. One night when I was running through some words I asked Lindsey the following:
Me: What does D-A-D spell?
Lindsey: D-A-D?
Me: Yes, what does D-A-D spell?
Lindsey: Butt!
Mind you Jason was standing right next to us. I tried so hard not to laugh, but once Jason cracked a smile we all had a little laugh at her joke.
