Feel better

Today Lindsey talked about going to visit her grandma.  Unfortunately she is sick, so we couldn't head up there.

Lindsey: Let's go see grandma!

Me: Sorry sweetie, grandma is sick.

Lindsey: We should bring her my owie stuff. That will make her feel better.

Me: Well...we could.

For as long as I can remember Lindsey has called her diaper cream the owie stuff (because we  put it where it is owie, obviously). She missed the connection though that the cream really only makes one thing feel better.  Still a sweet gesture!

Snow!

It has finally snowed this winter! After school yesterday Jason bundled Lindsey up in her snow suit so they could play outside.  Lindsey & Joey love playing in the snow! After a little while Jason was ready to head inside to warm up.

Jason: Lindsey, Daddy's hand are cold, lets go inside.

Lindsey: (Pointing to the door) Go put some mittens on.

Clearly she was not ready to head inside.

Sneezes

This darn cold is just getting the best of Lindsey. The other night on the way home from school she had this to share.

(After several big sneezes)

Jason: Wow, that was a lot of sneezes!

Lindsey: And a lot of boogers!

Runny nose

Lindsey has come down with a cold this week. With that her nose seems to be constantly running.  This morning before leaving for school we had this exchange.

Sarah: Lindsey, come here so I can wipe your nose.
Lindsey: No, you don't need to wipe. I licked it, now it's gone.
Sarah: Oh sweetie, please let me wipe your nose.
Lindsey: No, look, I licked it. You don't need to wipe.

GROOOSS!!!
