I'm on the phone!

There is a post out there on Pinterest that says something of the effect "The easiest way to get your kids to pay attention to you is to sit down and talk on the phone".  Lindsey seems to have a sensor built in telling her the second I pick up the phone.  Kudos to my sister for reminding me of this interruption recently.

Me: Talking to my sister on the phone

Lindsey: Mommy, mommy, Mommy

Me: Lindsey, mom is on the phone. Can you wait please? (Back to conversation)

Lindsey: Mommy, mommy, mommy! I have eyeballs!

Me: (While trying to listen to my sister). Yes Lindsey, you do have eyeballs.

Lindsey: Mommy, I have TWO eyeballs! One, two.

At this point Christine and I start laughing and engage Lindsey by asking what else she has.
